With increasing age, men also experience the first symptoms that generally accompany aging.
The skin becomes drier and more wrinkled and tends to develop pigment moles. Hair becomes thinner. Beard growth often also decreases, and gradual weight increases follow. In addition, muscle mass decreases more and more. Uncomfortable fat builds up (particularly in the stomach area).
Apart from the external changes, soon or later, a number of more serious illnesses requiring treatment can occur. Men in this age group experience increasing changes in their sexual lives in comparison to younger men. Not only do fertility and sperm production gradually decline; libido – sexual desire – and potency also decrease progressively.
Cause
In men too, hormonal balance changes. Already at an age between 30 and 35 years men’s hormone production can gradually slow down. Further factors such as the wrong diet or too little exercise also play an important role.
